  83.                     The Fortran 90 Front End package consists of the
  84.                     binary Fortran 90 compiler front end, online man
  85.                     pages, and release notes. The following is a
  86.                     description of the subsystems shipped with the

  97.                     time, the subsystems marked ``default'' are the
  98.                     ones that are installed if you use the ``go''
  99.                     menu item.  To install a different set of
  100.                     subsystems, use the ``install,'' ``remove,''
  101.                     ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  102.                     customize the list of subsystems to be
  103.                     installed, then select the ``go'' menu item.

  105.                     2.1.1  _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__M_e_t_h_o_d  All of the
  106.                     subsystems for Fortran 90 can be installed using
  107.                     _i_n_s_t from IRIX.  You do not need to use the
  108.                     miniroot.  Refer to the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e
  109.                     _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for complete installation
  110.                     instructions.

  113.                     2.1.2  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s  Fortran 90 requires the
  114.                     installation of the IRIX Development Foundation
  115.                     (compiler_eoe, compiler_dev and ftn90_dev)
  116.                     subsystems as well as ftn_eoe_sw and
  117.                     ftn_eoe_sw64 (if doing 64-bit development) from
  118.                     patchSG0002759.

  141.                             Patch 2759 contains both ftn77_eoe and ftn_eoe
  142.                             subsystems.  One set of these subsystems
  143.                             is marked as installable (NA) while the other is
  144.                             marked as not installable (NX).

  146.                             When installing patch 2759 on the 7.2.1 and 7.2
  147.                             compiler runtimes containing ftn_eoe,
  148.                             the ftn77_eoe subsystems are displayed as not
  149.                             installable (NX).

  152.                             runtimes containing ftn77_eoe,
  153.                             the ftn_eoe subsystems are displayed as not

  171.                              to run F90 on IRIX 6.2-6.4 !!!

  176.                     6.5.
